Association of the Managements of Un-aided Professional Colleges, Maharashtra

Association of the Managements of Unaided Professional Colleges (Maharashtra) (Formerly, The Association of the Managements of Unaided Engineering Colleges (Mah.)) is the registered organization of the un-aided professional institutes such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, HMCT, Town Planning, Design, Applied Arts & Crafts, MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, PGDM colleges in the State of Maharashtra. The Association is registered under the Societies Registration Act (Reg. No.: MH/8081/03 dated 27-05-2003) and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 (Reg. No.: F/7869/Nashik dated 26/10/2003).

The main function of the Association is to resolve the common problems of the various un-aided professional institutions (like Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, HMCT, Town Planning, Design, Applied Arts & Crafts, MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, PGDM etc.) by establishing liaison with various organizations such as AICTE, PCI, COA, State Govt., DTE, FRA, ARA, CET cell & other Regulatory bodies.

Balasaheb Devram Wagh alias Bhau (1932-2022) was born in the legendary family of Padmashri Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh and Geetai Wagh. His personality blossomed in the influential company of his able father’s reputable and progressive friends, associates and well-wishers notably Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh, Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hire, Vasantdada Patil, Karmaveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad, Krantisinh Nana Patil, Kavi Kusumagraj and grand father Sayaji Wagh.

It is a real pleasure for me to welcome you to the Association of the Managements of Un-aided Professional Colleges (Mah.). The Association has been striving effortlessly for maintaining quality education since its establishment in 2003 and has been instrumental in solving various issues faced by the member institutions. I feel proud in sharing that the Association has stayed true to its objective and development of the educational institutes throughout its inception. The Association believes that quality education is the best and most assured route to prosperity and development of a society.
